Build a carbon neutral future with energy generating Solar PV systems

BENEFITS OF SOLAR PV

There are many benefits to installing solar panels for commercial businesses. Some of the most notable benefits include:

REDUCED ENERGY COSTS

Solar panels can help businesses save money on their energy bills by generating their own electricity. The amount of money saved will vary depending on the size of the solar system and the amount of energy the business uses, but many businesses can save thousands of pounds each year on their energy bills. INCREASED PROPERTY VALUE

Solar panels can also increase the value of a commercial property. This is because solar panels are seen as an attractive feature by many potential buyers. In addition, solar panels can help to reduce a business’s carbon footprint, which is something that many people are looking for in a property.

IMPROVED PUBLIC IMAGE

Installing solar panels can also help to improve a business’s public image. This is because solar panels are seen as a symbol of sustainability and environmental responsibility. By installing solar panels, businesses can show their customers and the community that they are committed to protecting the environment.

GOVERNMENT INCENTIVES

Many governments offer financial incentives to businesses that install solar panels. These incentives can take the form of tax breaks, rebates, or grants. The amount of the incentive will vary depending on the government and the type of solar system installed.

REDUCED RELIANCE ON THE GRID

Solar panels can help businesses to reduce their reliance on the grid. This can be beneficial in the event of a power outage, as the business will still have access to electricity from its solar panels. In addition, reducing reliance on the grid can help businesses to avoid fluctuations in energy prices.

INCREASED ENERGY INDEPENDENCE

Solar panels can help businesses to become more energy independent. This is because, businesses that generate their own electricity are not as reliant on the grid. This can be beneficial for businesses that are looking to reduce their costs and their environmental impact.

SOLAR PANEL PRINCIPLES

Solar energy can help to reduce the cost of electricity, contribute to a resilient electrical grid and generate back-up power for night time and outages when paired with storage, and operate at similar efficiency on both small and large scales.

Photovoltaics – what does it mean?

The term ‘photovoltaic’ means the direct conversion of light into electrical energy using solar cells.

In order to generate a sufficient amount of power, or ‘wattage’, multiple panels (otherwise known as ‘modules’) are connected together in ‘strings’ to create an ‘array’. An array can be made up from as little as 3 modules upwards. Modules vary in wattage output; however, we tend to use between 410W-550W modules.

Therefore, the number of modules, combined with their corresponding wattage output determines the overall size of the array, and hence which Feed-in-Tariff (FiT) bracket your system will fit into.

DESIGN & QUOTATION PROCESS

At BF-Solar, we can offer Commercial Solar PV installation on your industrial and commercial properties.

When beginning any solar installation project, we initially carry out a desktop survey, which, if you are then happy with you will receive a forecast showing your estimated savings from your current electrical uses and costs compared to what you will save from installing Solar PV to your property. The next step from here would be for us to come out on a site visit to get you an accurate quotation for your property.

FINANCE OPTIONS

A Self-Funded project shares similar benefits as the PPA project does. You will receive a return on investment, as well as savings on your electricity costs. Not to mention, of course, the environmental benefits are the same.

Even with choosing the Commercial Solar PV, you will still get full support from us the entire way through your Solar PV process, from the survey to the design and installation stage. Here at BF-Solar, we work with our customers to ensure they are delighted, We want you to choose the best option for you and your business. All of our services are no obligation and you are not obligated to proceed if you change your mind in this process for any reason.

ASSET FINANCE

With solar asset finance your business can benefit from solar power without paying the upfront costs. Paying regular instalments suits some businesses more than making the capital outlay. Savings generally outweigh the repayments, meaning that a cash positive business case can still be achieved.

POWER PURCHASE AGREEMENT

A Power Purchase Agreement, or PPA, from Bright Future Solar, allows your business to secure a portion of its annual electricity consumption from solar power, with zero upfront costs.

We fund, plan, develop, construct and connect a solar system designed specifically for your business and charge a fixed, often index-linked rate for the electricity.

This helps you to reduce carbon emissions and allows power to be secured at a lower rate which is guaranteed to stay the same for at least the next 20 years.

CAPITAL EXPENDITURE

Choosing between purchasing a solar PV system or opting for a funded solution depends on your business’s long-term strategy and appetite for capital expenditure. If the financial resources are available to invest in solar, then you can typically see a return on investment in under 5 years.
